About Our Team

Cody is the CEO of Heller Construction, Inc. He oversees all projects, client relationships, budgets, contracts and trade partner relations. Cody is always striving to find ways to improve the building experience for his clients. He looks for ways to leverage science and technology to provide a more sophisticated finished product while maintaining the caliber of Custom Legacy Homes for which Heller Construction is known.

Growing up in the custom home industry has created a unique perspective for Cody. As early as he can remember he was onsite building, digging or sweeping. As with most family businesses, he was also part of many conversations at the dinner table learning about projects, clients, subcontractors and employees.

Cody received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from St. Mary’s College and had a short stint in real estate before returning to work for Bob and Patty in Lake Tahoe. For 20 years Cody has been fortunate to call his parents partners and work side by side creating truly distinguished homes for wonderful clients in the greater Tahoe/Truckee area. When not building, you can find Cody with his family on the Lake or playing in the snow experiencing all that Tahoe has to offer.

With +45 years in the trades, Robert has developed a refined understanding of the commit- ment it takes to accomplish building custom homes. His dedication to his clients and to their specific needs reflects in the outstanding construction projects he has developed and delivered. Each project is backed by his loyal team of carpenters, subcontractors, and sup- pliers, all going the extra mile for Bob to deliver on his demanding expectations of what a Heller Built quality home should be.

When not working, Bob enjoys all types of fishing and projects at the Sierra City family cabin.

Kurt is originally from Santa Cruz, CA. began his building career at age 15 building greenhouses for a local nursery. In 1978, he moved to Tahoe City where he started building custom homes in the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area. In 2011 he became part of the Heller Construction Team and eventually became supervisor. His supervisory skills, as well as knowledge of materials and techniques are shown in his workmanship.

On his off time, Kurt enjoys bicycling, camping, fishing, and snowmobiling in and around the Tahoe area, as well as spending time along the California coast.

Eric has well over 3 decades in the construction industry in California, Nevada, Colorado, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands. As a contractor in the Virgin Islands for 16 years, he also had a custom woodworking and restoration business. Eric enjoys the whole range of working with wood from rough framing to the fine art of finish carpentry. It goes with his deep respect for the start to finish process of building custom homes from getting them out of the dirt to handing the owners a key upon finishing.

In his spare time, you can find Eric spending time with his wife and daughter, racing dirt bikes and running ultra marathons.

Carolyn graduated from St. Mary’s College in 2008 with a BS in Accounting. She gained her accounting experience as an auditor and then as a Controller for a robotics company where she still sits on the Board of Directors. She joined Heller Construction in 2021 and is currently managing all aspects of accounting for the company.

Carolyn loves to spend time with her husband Cody and 3 kids. She loves being on the lake in the summer and being on the snowy mountains in the winter.
